Pakistan may face water starvation by 2025 if mandatory steps not taken
According to a report of 'The Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR)':Pakistan may face droughts by 2025. Pakistan will touch line of 'absolute scarcity' if mandatory steps not taken.
Asian Development Bank announced:Pakistan is one of water starved countries.Unfortunately, there are no water storage facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan has not built new dams from many years.Many people of backward areas in Pakistan use contaminate water which may cause health issues.
The root causes of water crisis in Pakistan are mainly Population growth,lack of management,agricultural and industrial usage.Some experts say: Climate change is the root cause and climate change is the biggest threat to the whole world.
Water crisis may reduce by improving management of proper water storage system and build the system to store the rainy water.The role of media,through proper channels and good leadership may take crucial steps to overcome water starvation and in this way waste water may be regained and water can be restored.
